John G. Livingston, Moline Review Dispatch Oct 27, 1905 He was one of the oldest residents of the city, died Sunday at his home, 1525 7th Avenue . He was born April 26, 1835 in Sweden and in 1854, came to America . He located in Moline in 1855 and has lived here since. At the age of 41 years, he lost his eyesight in a gun accident. He is survived by his widow and 2 children: a son (Ellsworth) E. of Moline and a son Oscar of Bradford (Bradley), Illinois . The funeral was Tuesday. He was a millwright by trade. He was married here on March 28, 1861 . He has been blind for 41 years. 2 children, Clara and Harry, are deceased. Submitted by the Webmaster
