Lee R. Farden, 24, died at 4:40 o'clock yesterday afternoon at St. Anthoy's hospital after being in poor health for two years
. He was born in Rock Island on June 7, 1900 , and received his education the local public schools. On July 3, 1918 , he was united in marriage to Miss Esther Sundstrom, Moline . Mr. Farden had been a life resident of Rock Island, and before he became ill he had been employed by the Overland-Knight company, 1620 Fourth avenue . He was a member of camp 29, Modern Woodman of America
. Surviving besides the widow is a daughter, Mary Jane Farden; his mother, Mrs. John F. Baumann, Rock Island ; his father, John Farden, of Teulon , Ill. , a sister, Mamie Farden; a brother, Clarence Farden, Rock Island , and one step-sister and four step-brothers. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 o'clock Saturday afternoon at the Knox chapel and at 3 o'clock at the Evangelical Church of Peace. Rev. Fred J. Rolf, pastor of the church will officiate and interment will be made in Chippiannock cemetery.
