Services for Louise G. Ludwig, 91, Rock Island , are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Hodgson Funeral Home Ltd., Rock Island . Burial is in Greenview Memorial Gardens , East Moline . Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today. Memorials may be made to the Gospel Temple , Moline , where she was a member, or to the nursery class at Gloria Dei Presbyterian Church, Rock Island , in memory of Shirley Ludwig.

Mrs. Ludwig died Sunday, Nov. 17, 1996 , at home. The former Louise G. Nelson was born Aug. 12, 1905 , in Rock Island , the daughter of George W. and Elsie M. Sisco Nelson. She married Edward A. Ludwig Aug. 24, 1923 , in Rock Island . He died Oct. 5, 1992 . She was employed in the making room at the former Servus Rubber Co., Rock Island , for 16 years, and was previously employed at the former McCabe's Department Store. She was a member of Do Unto Others Circle, past president of King's Daughters and was active in church work.

Survivors include daughters and sons-in-law, Marcella and John Miller, St. Petersburg , Fla. , and Ralph Goold, Rock Island ; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; and sisters, Elsie Huntley, Andalusia , and Katherine Klepper, Marysville. Daughters, Shirley Ludwig, died in 1956, and Delores Goold, died July 1, 1996.
