Mrs. Bernard E. Schroeder, 50, of 1116 2nd Ave. , lifetime resident of Rock Island , died at 2 a.m. Wednesday in St. Anthony's Hospital. The funeral will be Friday at 1:30 p.m. in Hodgson Funeral Home, and burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery . Born July 24, 1905 , the former Mamie Farden was wed to Bernard Schroeder, April 6, 1929 .

Surviving are the husband; a sister, Mrs. Milton Bauck, Rock Island , and her step-father, John Baumann of Davenport .
