Memorial services for Marguerite L. Richards, 76, of 3130 9th St ., Rock Island , will be held at a later date. Private family inurnment is Wednesday at Memorial Park Cemetery , Rock Island . There is no visitation. Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island , is in charge of arrangements

. Memorials may be made to a favorite charity.

Mrs. Richards died Friday at Franciscan Medical Center , Rock Island . The former Marguerite L. Nelson was born Feb. 5, 1913 , in Rock Island. She married Charles Richards in Spencer , Iowa . He died in June 1983. Mrs. Richards retired in 1979 from the Davenport Hearing Aid Center. She also had been employed in the inhalation therapy department at the former St. Anthony's Hospital, Rock Island . She was a member of First United Presbyterian Church, Rock Island , and the Retired Senior Volunteer Program.

Survivors include a daughter, Marilyn Leonard, Davenport ; sons Eddy Ostrom, San Diego, and Michael Richards, Sunnyvale , Calif ; eight grandchildren; and sisters Novella Miller and Louise Ludwig, both of Rock Island, Elsie Huntley, Andalusia , and Kathryn Klepper, Marysville , Wash.
