Services for Nellie M. Parr, 83, Rock Island , are 11 a.m. Monday at Hodgson Funeral Home, Rock Island . Burial is in Chippiannock Cemetery , Rock Island . Visitaiton is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday. Memorials may be made to Gloria Dei Presbyterian Church, Rock Island , of which she was a 40-year member.

Mrs. Parr died Thursday at home. Nellie Sisco was born Feb. 27, 1905 , in Eliza , Ill. She married John W. Parr May 1, 1925 , in Rock Island . He died May 3, 1974 . She was active in various church circles, and presently was treasurer of the Steadfast Class of the church; and was a member of "Do Unto Others," King's Daughters, of which she had been past president.

Survivors include daughters, Dolores Cralle, Rock Island , and Marjorie Washburn, Davenport ; a son, William, Rock Island ; 18 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
