Ralph C. Sisco, 72, of 1207 11th St. , Rock Island , died early this morning at Rock Island Franciscan Hospital . Funeral services will be Saturday at 1 p.m. in the Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island . The Rev. Kenneth D. Kuenning, pastor of the Church of Peace , will officiate. Burial will be in Chippiannock Cemetery , Rock Island . Friends may call at the funeral home after noon tomorrow.

Mr. Sisco was born in Eliza , Ill. , Nov. 9, 1899 , a son of John C. and Hester Gordon Sisco. As a small child, he moved to Rock Island , where he received his education and lived the rest of his life. He married Laura Mogler Sept. 6, 1940 , at Lancaster , Mo. She died in 1965. Until his retirement in 1962, Mr. Sisco was employed as a coremaker at the former Mississippi Foundry, Rock Island , for 20 years. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose No. 190, Rock Island . Former secretary of the Rock Island City Bowling Association, he worked at ABC tournaments throughout the United States . He also had managed semi-professional baseball teams.

Surviving are a brother, Clifford; a sister, Mrs. William Parr, and a stepsister, Mrs. George Nelson, all of Rock Island . He also was preceded in death by two brothers.
