John K. Scott has purchased from Logan DeBord, a 224 acre farm in Blackhawk township, located 5 miles southwest of Milan .

ANDALUSIA : Sylvester Mosher drowned near Montpelier on Sunday. he was born and raised in Andalusia .
Bateman Andalusia item - Omer Batemen brought the remains of his brother- in-law, Vester Mosher, whose body was found at Muscatine , he drowned some weeks ago. Burial was in the Andalusia Cemetery .

Christy James D. Christy married Miss Goldie, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Ranbarger of Milan on June 6th at the home of the bride's parents.
Walter R. Weaver married Fannie E., daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Lees of Coal Valley on Wednesday at the home of the bride's parents. Gene Lees was a flower girl. They will live at Coal Valley . The groom was born and raised in Milan .
Mayan Emanuel Mayan who was formerly in the drug business in Pre-emption, Mercer County for 10 years,was found dead Monday in Vance Davenport , Iowa . James Vance of Preemption is his father-in-law. He was aged 34 years and was a native of this county. He went to Davenport 2 years ago. Re is survived by his wife. Burial was at Pre-emption.

William Vilmerton of Pre-emption, aged 85 years, has been judged incapable of handling his affairs by the court and his son has been appointed his conservator. Born to Mr. and Mrs. Anton L. VonBuer of 1824 181/2 Avenue, Moline , a son who died on Monday.
