Mrs. Hoffman, 33, Succumbs
Mrs. Magdaline Violet Hoffman 33, died of a heart attack at 2 O'Clock Saturday afternoon in Moline. Death followed an extended illness. She was familiarly known as "Doll" Hoffman.
Mrs. Hoffman the former Miss Magdaline Koob, a daughter of Mrs. Violet Koob, Rock Island and the late John Koob was born September 24, 1912 in Butterfield Minn. When she was 3 yrs. old she came with her parents to Milan and ever since resided in this community. Until recently she was employed at the Feltex Corp. in Rock Island
She married Adam A. Hoffman May 15, 1931 in Minnesota, Surviving are the Widower, a son John at home; her mother Mrs. Violet Koob, Rock Island, a sister Mrs. Drucilla Lavine, East Moline and a brother Richard Koob, St. Paul, Minn.
Funneral services will be held at 1:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon in the Esterdahl Chapel, Moline, the Rev. Ralph E. Lemmon, pastor of the Milan Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in the Rock Island Memorial Park.
