Mrs. James W. Bledsoe
Mrs. James W. Bledsoe aged 65 years, a resident for more than 50 years
passed away at 9 O'clock this morning in a local hospital.
Infirmaties of old age caused the death.
Mrs. Amanda Bledsoe was a native of Tennesee and came to Rock Island as
a small girl. She had resided since with exception of several
years. She was married to James Bledsoe, she was a member of
the First Methodist Church.
Surviving are the widower, four daughters, Mrs. Margaret Siedler, Moline,
Mrs. Nettie Peuder, Davenport and Mrs. Cara Swim and Mrs. Mattie
Schlueter both of Rock Island. Seven sons Frank, Moline, Charles,
Harrey and Chester all of Rock Island; Edward and Jessie both
of Iowa and John, Detroit, Michigan..
