Ruth M. Bysinger, 76, of 428 E. 6th St. , Milan , died Sunday at Silver Cross Nursing Center , Rock Island . Services are 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Knox-Larson Funeral Home, Rock Island. Burial is in Memorial Park Cemetery, Rock Island . Visitation is 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials may be made to the nursing center or her church, South Park Presbyterian.

The former Ruth M. Nelson was born Aug. 26, 1910 , in Rock Island , where she married Albert Bysinger in 1937. He died Nov. 14, 1980 . She worked as an assembler at Servus Rubber Co., Rock Island , and later managed the Diane Shop, Rock Island . She was charter member of the Gloria Dei Presbyterian Church, Rock Island; a charter member of the Flossie Ellis Circle of King's Daughters; former director of the Cleveland Home, Rock Island ; a life member of the Illinois Branch of King's Daughters and former chaplain for the Rock Island City Union .

Survivors include a son, David, Moline ; two granchildren; two step-grandchildren; sisters, Elsie Huntley, Andalusia , Louis Ludwig, Margaret Richards and Novella Miller, all of Rock Island , and Kathryn Klepper, Marysville , Wash. ; and a brother, Robert Nelson, Sherrard.
