Buried there are some of Rock Island's most famous people who have left their mark on this wonderful city.Some of the names include Co. George Davenport, Fredrick Weyerhaeuser, Col. Buford and John W. Potter just to name a few. You can also learn the history of the county there.

Every year Chippiannock hosts Epitaphs Brought To Life a walking tour of history of some of it's most famous residents. They also offer a genealogy workshop. 309-788-6622
