My name is Wini Caudell and I am your host for Stephenson County
here at Illinois Ancestors...your path into the past!
At Illinois Ancestors we like to use a unique blend of genealogy and history. So not only do you find your ancestors but you will also
learn about the area in which they lived and worked.
We're a volunteer organization whose mission is to provide free genealogical data for all researchers.
If you have data that you'd like to share with researchers, I would love to put it online for everyone's benefit.
All contributors will be given credit and retain ownership
of the data they submit. Your information will never be used for profit in any way.
Being a completely independent site, we promise that your data will always remain
free for researchers to use for many years to come!
I'll add new data on a regular basis, so please come back often.
If you would like to contribute data, please email me anytime!
If you'd like to join my mailing list, just email me and I'll sign you up.
Just let me know it's for Stephenson county
The McConnell Area Historical Society is trying to win new office equipment. You can help us by going to this site everyday and voting for us. You can only vote once a day. Just hit the little VOTE button. Please pass this on to other McConnell area people you may have in your email list. The more votes we get the bigger and more office equip we can receive! Please also check out our new Faccebook page where Robin will be putting blast from the past photos she recieves from people on or about McConnell. Thanks again for helping us to win!!!!!!
The first round of public online voting for the Make My Non-Profit Run Better conteststarts Wednesday October 16th. Have you informed your supporters about the contest? Here are a few quick things you can do to help spread the word:
· Send your supporters an email, asking them to vote for you on a regular basis. Consider sending more than one email to remind them to vote daily and increase your votes. If you don’t want to write your own email asking for votes, I attached some copy we put together that explains the contest and what it’s all about.
· Encourage your staff to spread the word about the contest among friends. Word of mouth is a very powerful tool!
· If you have an office that is frequented by supporters, don’t forget to hang posters and have flyers ready to hand out.
· Include information about the contest in your organization’s newsletter and direct people to visit www.MMNPRB.com to cast their vote.
As always, let me know if you have questions!
