He was the son of Lewis M. Hickox who married Agnes A. Beatson 6 May 1868 in Rockford , IL

My great-grandparents lived and worked in Rockford for many years. My great-grandfather owned and operated the H.C. Wickwire Company at 803 North Madison Street in Rockford , IL for many years.
