Wager, was born in Mass., July 28, 1812; came to this Co. in 1837; was one of the first settlers in this township; he and his family being zealous members of the Congregational Church, he took an active part in the organization of the first Congregational Church in this place; he also held various town and church offices from the time of his settlement until the time of his death, which occurred April 26, 1877; wife was Martha S. Masora; they were married in Indiana, July 26, 1836; she was born in Conn., Nov. 17, 1809, and died Oct. 26, 1870.
