Charles H. Tanton and Esther A. Mundell September, 1893 Cazenovia, Woodford County, Illinois Metamora Herald, Metamora,
Woodford County, Illinois, September 7th, 1893 The bride was dressed in a beautiful dress of cream colored satin and lace and wore a veil and wreath, and the two maids of honor of honor wore dresses of white mull. The bridesmaid was miss Tanton and the groomsman was Mr. Mundell. Directly after the ceremony an abundant and elegant lunch was served at the church. Over an hour was spent in receiving the congratulations of their many friends and neighbors. The presents were very handsome and numerous. The groom is one of the wealthiest men in Woodford county and is favorably thought of by all, while the bride has been a prominent church worker there for a number of years and has also been superintendent of the Sunday school. They have the best wishes of all for their future happiness and prosperity. [Note: Esther Ann Mundell was the daughter of Samuel and Ruth (Babb) Mundell. Charles H. Tanton was the son of Richard and Elizabeth Tanton.
