John and

 John William and Mattie (Green) Bayles (Wedding Picture, Aug. 30, 1887) In the 1880's, John came to Central Illinois from Kentucky to work for Funks of Funks Grove. He went back to marry Mattie, and every summer he would return to Illinois to work for Funks. After the first four children were born in Clark County Kentucky, they moved to rural Carlock, Kansas Township, where they built a log cabin by the Mackinaw River. The cabin went deep into a hill. They were warm in the winter and cool in the summer. Eight more children were born to them in Kansas Township, with ten children reaching adulthood. Mattie and John are both buried at Denman Cemetery, White Oak Township, McLean County, Illinois |

 Henry Green About 1892 Henry was born 1867 in Kentucky, and lived in Rural Carlock, Kansas township, from 1892-1964. He died in 1964 at the age of 97. Picture taken at Bloomington, McLean co., about age 25.
